Our history
A vision passed down through generations

In 1985, two passionate young opticians set out to create a unique optical centre in Montreal. Located at the corner of Jean-Talon and Avenue des Halles, the expansive space offered a comprehensive range of optical services all under one roof. More importantly, it also provided a personalized experience for every customer.
Since its inception, VU has built its reputation on unwavering service excellence and continual technological innovation. The company has always remained true to its mission, and continues to serve its valued customers with unmatched precision, attentiveness and professionalism.
Vincent Lebel, the son of one of VU’s founders, proudly carries the company torch today.
