Dr. Pierre-Jean Bernard O.D.
Presentation
After completing training in opticianry followed by a master’s degree in vision sciences in France, he pursued studies in optometry and vision science research in Montreal in 2006. He graduated as an optometrist from the School of Optometry in Montreal in 2012.
He has participated in several research projects, notably on visual training, Piggyback contact lenses, and blood flow measurement by spectrometry in the context of macular degeneration.
He joined VU in 2013 and has since developed a strong expertise in myopia control. For several years, the clinic has offered axial length measurement of the eye, allowing for precise and personalized myopia monitoring.
