How long will I need to wait for my new glasses to be ready?

Does the warranty cover accidental frame breakage?

I saw some frames that I like on your website. Can I try them on in the store?
Our online catalogue shows a limited selection of the frames and sunglasses that are available in our boutique. However, we regularly update our stock, and it’s possible that the frames you saw are no longer available in the store. But don’t worry: our team is passionate about helping you find the perfect frames. Visit us today!
Can I order frames in a different colour?
Some collections offer colour options for certain frames. If so, we’ll be happy to order the shade of your choice. A deposit is required, and delivery times depend on the supplier and shipping service.

Optometrist
What are the wait times for an eye exam?
With our team of optometrists and four exam rooms, we’re able to ensure a relatively short wait time for eye exam appointments. Depending on your availability, you’re likely to get an appointment within 24 to 72 hours.
How long does an eye exam take?
A complete eye exam takes about an hour.
Can I get a copy of my prescription?
Yes, we will provide you with a copy of your prescription at the end of the exam.
Can contact lenses correct presbyopia?
Yes, it’s possible to correct presbyopia with contact lenses: however, the correction won’t be as precise as with progressive glasses. For some people, the best solution is a compromise between distance and near vision.
It’s worth noting that prolonged use of contact lenses, especially in front of a screen, can worsen dry eye issues. Still, many customers are satisfied with their progressive contact lenses.
Are all eye exams the same?
There is no universal standard for eye exams in Quebec. At VU, our exams include advanced technologies such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), retinal imaging and corneal topography to form a comprehensive diagnosis.
